INDIVIDUAL PLAN
A chart is in the front of the classroom. Each student has a pocket with his or her number written on it. "HOW I ACT" is spelled along the top.
H - Hullabaloo
O - Organization
W - Work
I - Initiative
A - Attitude
C - Caring
T - Time Management
Throughout the day, the students will earn color-coded strips of paper based on their behavior. Hullabaloo is defined as any disruptive behavior exhibited during class or recess. Any time a student earns one of these strips, he or she must enter it into the "How I Act" log book.
The other strips are earned for exhibiting positive behaviors. When a student shows caring toward another person, they will earn a brown strip. Any student who has a clean desk for the surprise inspections will earn an orange strip. The strips remain in the pocket throughout the week.
On Friday, the students will count their strips. For every black strip, they remove one colored strip, then they count they remaining strips. For every 5 strips, they earn 1 Brunsman Buck.
If a student earns two black strips in one school day, he or she will lose recess. If a student earns four black strips in one school day, the student and teacher will call a parent.

A marble jar will also be placed on my desk. When the ENTIRE class follows
directions, is working appropriately, etc., a marble will be put into the jar. When
the jar is full, we will have a movie party to celebrate their achievement.
