Class Rules

I have two basic rules in my classroom.

1. I always do my best.
2. I show respect for everyone and everything at school.

During the first day of school, the students brainstorm a list of apprpriate classroom rules. We then group the rules into one of the two basic rules above. The students create a class book that depicts how they will follow one of the two rules.
